Dr. James Wallingford
I have called Texas home for most of my life. After leaving my hometown of El Paso, I graduated from Texas A&M University in 1998. From there I attended dental school at Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas. Upon graduation I was chosen to participate in a one-year AEGD residency at Baylor that focused on cosmetic, restorative, and reconstructive dentistry. During my residency, I received extensive training in the newest techniques in cosmetic dentistry and smile designs under some of the best cosmetic dentists in the world.
In addition to routine dental cleanings and screening, our practice treats patients that require full mouth reconstruction, which includes implants, crowns, bridges, dentures or combinations of all these treatment options. I also have experience in dealing with TMJ Disorders and treating the associated facial pain in a non-surgical manner. I am also certified to safely sedate patients who are apprehensive about seeking dental treatment.
I am a member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and the Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. In 2005, I was honored to be one of the youngest in the nation to receive a fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry.
My wife and I have lived in the Lake Conroe area for over 9 years now. We have two adorable daughters, Abby and Caroline who are the light of our life. We enjoy traveling, sprint triathalons, golf, Texas A&M football games and all the water-sports that our community provides.
I look forward to meeting you and assisting you in deciding what type of dental treatment will give you a picture-perfect smile.
